Describe it once. Matched providers come to you.
Small chips can often be repaired if they are dealt with early and are not in the driver's direct line of sight. Cracks usually mean replacement. Add a photo, the vehicle details and whether the screen has a camera or sensors (lane assist, rain sensor), because those may need recalibration after replacement.

Windscreen repair or replacement around Rosedale
Whether the vehicle is near Rosedale Road, Constellation Drive, Apollo Drive and Bush Road, or over towards Albany, Mairangi Bay and Glenfield, put the suburb in the job and it is matched to providers whose coverage includes North Shore. Say whether the car can be driven or needs mobile work or a tow, and when it is available.
The North Shore stretches from Devonport and Takapuna up through Glenfield and Albany to the East Coast Bays. Much of the work here is commuter cars and family vehicles, with a strong concentration of workshops in the Wairau Valley and Rosedale industrial areas.

Questions
Do providers cover Rosedale?
Providers choose the regions they cover. A job posted from Rosedale goes to verified providers who cover North Shore for windscreen & glass. If none are currently accepting that work, the job form tells you before you post.
Will a cracked windscreen fail a WOF?
Damage in the driver's critical vision area, or cracks that affect safety, can fail a WOF. A glass specialist can advise.
Can a chip be repaired instead of replaced?
Often, if it is small and handled early. Post a photo.
Is posting free?
Yes, for vehicle owners.
